About the XR-Skills Learning Platform
The XR-Skills learning platform is designed to present information on the use of Virtual Reality for skills training and education in self-paced learning.
You can use this platform to:
- acquire basic knowledge on the impact of stress on mental and emotional states
- learn how Virtual Reality can be used for stress management
- gain an understanding of game-based learning and how it can promote the development of skills and competences
- be informed on the game developed for the XR-Skills project to enable teachers and future teachers to develop a set of skills related to time management and stress management
Currently, there are 5 modules in the platform.
Each module includes 4-8 sections. Every time you complete a module you will receive a certification.
Let’s take a look at each of the 5 modules in more detail:
Module 1: Attention and stress
Attention and stress intricately influence our mental and emotional states. The cognitive process of focusing on stimuli, known as attention, and the body’s response to challenging situations, stress, have a profound impact on our well-being. Understanding their interplay is crucial for managing daily life effectively and promoting overall mental health.

Module 3 – Virtual Reality History and Technology
Virtual reality (VR) history traces back to the mid-20th century when the concept was first envisioned by science fiction writers. However, it wasn’t until the 1980s that technological advancements allowed for the creation of early VR devices. VR has evolved exponentially, finding applications in various fields, from gaming and entertainment to healthcare, education, and beyond.
