1. Organizing Entity

The incentive program is organised by CoastalPro, a project co-funded by the European Union’s Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund (EMFAF), coordinated by Surf Club Keros ΙΚΕ.

2. Participation Requirements

Participants must:

• Be officially registered participants of the CoastalPro educational program.
• Successfully complete the full CoastalPro course, including all assignments, surveys, quizzes, and questionnaires.
• Have commenced and completed the course between 1 November 2024 and 30 May 2025.
• Be at least 16 years old at the time of entering the competition.

3. Participation Cohorts

• The same prize structure applies to both cohorts, meaning each cohort's participants have equal opportunities to win the listed awards.
  
• Prizes will be awarded per cohort only if the cohort has more than 50 participants. If a cohort has fewer than 50 participants, all participants will be consolidated into a single cohort for prize distribution.
  

4. Prize Categories

Prizes are awarded as follows:

A. Top 6 Participants

• Eligible: The top 3 participants of each cohort (6 winners) based on their final ranking at the end of the game.
• Prize A1: A one-week full-board stay for two at Surf Club Keros, Lemnos, Greece, in Medium Quad Safari Tents.
  • Dates: Valid for stays during September 2025 season.
  • Accommodation details: Medium Quad Safari Tents.
  • Meal Plan: Buffet breakfast and dinner.
  • Activities: Includes 3 introductory sessions in water sports.
  • Upgrades: Subject to availability and additional costs payable by the prize winner.
  • All top 3 participants per cohort will also receive Prize A2 and Prize A3.
• Prize A2: Individual 1-on-1 career sessions with a recruiter, focusing on job opportunities in Spain (available only for the Up-Skilling Cohort).
  • 1-to-1 online session with a professional recruiter from Mundus
    
  • Duration: Maximum 1 hour
    
  • Platform: Online (Zoom / Google Meet)
    
  • Language: English or Spanish (depending on participant’s preference)
    
  • Topics you can discuss: Available job & internship opportunities in Spain, how to apply, Spanish labor market (trending sectors, most requested profiles), Erasmus+ internships or mobility opportunities (if applicable), work culture and expectations.
• Prize A3: Guaranteed spot in the Blue Economy Masterclass with a Certificate of Attendance.
  • Exclusive access to the Blue Economy Masterclass, designed to deepen understanding of this fast-evolving sector.
  • Participants will explore what the Blue Economy is—an economic model that promotes the sustainable use of ocean resources for growth, jobs, and ecosystem health—while also examining the European Ocean Pact. This Pact is a call to action for all stakeholders to collaborate in protecting marine ecosystems, fostering innovation, and ensuring a just transition for coastal communities. 
  • Drawing from the Verimpact Academy’s Blue Economy course, the Masterclass will highlight the sector’s vast potential, from renewable marine energy and sustainable fisheries to blue biotech and ecotourism, empowering participants to become active agents of ocean-positive change.
  • Led by experts and accompanied by a certificate of attendance from the Institute for Sustainable Development – EPLO and the Verimpact Academy.

• Eligible: The top 10 participants of each cohort.
• Prize: Guaranteed spot in the Blue Economy Masterclass with a Certificate of Attendance (as above).

C. Top 30 Participants

• Eligible: The top 30 participants of every cohort (excluding the top 3 who have already won a stay at Surf Club Keros) will enter a lottery for a chance to win 1 (one) of the following:
• Prize C1: Entry into a lottery for 5 places per cohort for Surfember Camp or Girls only Bikini Tribe (September 2025).
  • Camp details: Surfember Camp / Girls only Bikini Tribe. 
• Prize C2: Entry into a lottery for one-week internship in the Canary Islands, including free accommodation.
  • One-week internship placement (5 Working Days) with a local company or organisation in Fuerteventura, Canary Islands, according to your profile and speciality.
  • Internship dates and details to be arranged directly with winners.
  • Accommodation: Fully covered for 7 nights (shared apartment or similar).
  • Fields of work: Tourism, sustainability, hospitality, marketing, event management, or similar sectors.
    
  • Language: English (basic Spanish is a plus but not required).
    
  • Meals and travel costs to/from Fuerteventura are not included.
    

5. Ranking and Leaderboard

• Participants are ranked based on points accrued through successful course completion, assignments, quizzes, and active participation. Rankings will be transparently displayed on the final CoastalPro leaderboard.
• The final ranking is calculated based on your grades in the quizzes (50%) and the final Assignment (50%).

6. Lottery Mechanism and Prize Allocation

• Top ranks (Prizes A and B) automatically receive corresponding prizes based their final ranking.
• Lottery draws (Prize C) will be conducted electronically using a random selection tool approved and overseen by an independent third-party supervisor to ensure fairness and transparency.
• Each eligible participant within the defined rank ranges will be assigned a unique lottery number.
• The draw will be recorded, certified, and results will be publicly announced via official CoastalPro communication channels within seven days of the draw date.
• Winners of lottery draws will also be individually notified via email within the same timeframe.

7. Prize Claiming Procedure

• Winners will be notified by email within 7 days after the leaderboard finalization and lottery draw.
• Winners must respond to claim their prizes within 7 days from notification.
• Failure to respond within the stipulated timeframe will result in forfeiture of the prize, and the prize will be reassigned according to the lottery draw order.

8. Non-transferability and Cash Alternative

• Prizes are strictly non-transferable and must be accepted as awarded.
• No cash or other alternatives will be offered.

9. Publicity and Data Privacy

• By accepting a prize, winners consent to the use of their names and images for promotional purposes related to CoastalPro.
• Personal data collected will comply with GDPR regulations and only be used for prize distribution and promotional purposes related to CoastalPro.

10. Liability

• CoastalPro is not responsible for any additional expenses incurred by prize winners, including travel to and from prize locations unless explicitly included in the prize description.
• Participants agree that CoastalPro holds no liability for any loss, damage, injury, or dissatisfaction arising from the acceptance or use of awarded prizes.

11. Conflict of Interest

• Employees, contractors, or affiliates of CoastalPro, or their immediate family members, are ineligible to participate.
• Judges and decision-makers must disclose any potential conflicts of interest and will abstain from decisions where conflicts are identified.

12. Modifications and Cancellations

• CoastalPro reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the incentive program under extraordinary circumstances with timely notice to participants.

13. Governing Law

• These Terms and Conditions are governed by EU law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of the European Union.

14. Acceptance of Terms

Participation in the CoastalPro program and incentive activities implies full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
